Erwin Wurm's NARROW HOUSE, 2010, was installed in Square Claude Érignac in Le Havre, France. Wurm has produced several models of this work, but this is NARROW HOUSE's only permanent outdoor installation. The structure is a reinterpretation of Wurm's childhood home, a typical 1960s suburban home surrounded by a wooded, landscaped garden in Le Havre, giving the impression of a residential area.
