Cycling
Very quiet road with hardly any traffic.
After approx a kilometre you can take a cycle path which stays at the bottom of the valley so it has less elevation. It rejoins the main road in Yangling. From there I turned left as suggested by komoot. This route merges in the G444 with heavy lorry traffic and mud which in dry conditions would be horrible dusts.
BaiduMaps provided an alternative to carry south after Yangling on the cycling path which probably is a better option
