Llyn Ogwen is a ribbon lake in north-west Wales. It lies alongside the A5 road between two mountain ranges of Snowdonia, the Carneddau and the Glyderau.

The subject of countless atmospheric landscape photographs, Llyn Ogwen often makes the 'Most Beautiful Places' lists for Wales. Lying between Tryfan, the Glyders and the Carneddau, this stunning lake draws the eye no matter if you're at its edge or halfway up one of its neighbouring mountains.

The A5 along the Ogwen valley is a great road to cycle along although it can be quite busy.
Cafe and toilets at Ogwen cottage at the western end of Llyn Ogwen managed by the National Park.
