The bay of Porto Istana is located at the foot of Capo Ceraso, a granite promontory within the gulf of Olbia. This bay is made up of four beaches separated by small rocky bands. The coast is characterized by pink granite formations and surrounded by lush Mediterranean vegetation, including cistus, strawberry tree, heather, holm oak and wild olive. All four coves have a bottom of extremely fine white sand and slope gently towards the emerald waters, making them particularly suitable for children. The beach offers a unique view thanks to the vertical grandeur of Tavolara.
