The Gulf of Girolata in Corsica is a miniature replica of the Gulf of Porto, located right next door. It is bordered by very large red cliffs of more than 300 meters, like those of Punta Rosa, and surrounded by maquis.
The gulf has been included on the UNESCO World Heritage List since 1983.

Hiking

Together with the postman's path, a beautiful circular path to Girolata via Tuara beach can be hiked from the car park at Orsani. The two sections of the coastal path require surefootedness, as there are a few slightly airy sections to master, especially on the postman's path.
