If you're looking to hike through some old growth forest then the Cow Creek Trail is for you. You'll find a dense forest of Douglas Fir, Western Hemlocks, moss, ferns and much more. Be aware that if you hike the entire trail you'll be crossing the creek 5 times each way. Outside of the spring runoff season, when crossing the creek isn't advised, you'll generally have no trouble making the crossings.
