🧭The Calmont region is located on the terraced Moselle, just 20 kilometers from Cochem.
Thanks to the German Alpine Association and many volunteers from the surrounding communities of Bremm, Ediger-Eller and Neef. Because they all made sure that the mountain was accessible in the first place🥾🥾🎒.
What it means to make steep-slope Riesling can be experienced by everyone with the via ferrata.
The only technical help available to the Calmont winemakers is the Monorack cable car, which winds its way over the slate rubble on stilts. A kind of slow-motion roller coaster that only transports the equipment, the harvest or the winemaker.
🍷Anyone who stands up here understands that the wine has to have its price. The Riesling from the Calmont is unique in German winemaking, and not just because of the special climate🍇.

        ⚠️Caution and surefootedness are required⚠️-
the trail has a partly alpine character.
