This is the longest version of the Lekisch Loop Trail. (You'll see signposts along the trail for the two shorter versions.) By winter, these are one-way, ski-only trails; during summer each version of this loop is a non-technical gravel, dirt, and grass trail, with multi-use traffic moving in both drections.

The best parts about this trail — aside from the hills — are the diversity of viewpoints out over the water, and the way it explores the small landforms — like ridges and valleys — inside Kincaid Park.

Please be alert for wildlife encounters, which are very common here, and know how to respond to them.
