Cam Beck is a short lived watercourse, as just a little bit downstream it meets the great River Ribble. However, it is a beautiful little stream and one of the largest in the Ribblehead region. A charming footbridge crosses Cam Beck here at Nether Lodge which, along with Old Ing, are the only occupied buildings between High Birkwith Farm and Gearstones.
