The Frauenkirche is a plastered brick building from the beginning of the 14th century and was first mentioned in 1324. It adjoins the city tower, which was probably built around 1300, was vaulted in 1339 and consecrated in 1386. The spire was completed by Wolfgang Wiser in 1501/1502 and renewed in 1730. In 1753 the interior was redesigned. A renovation took place in 1974/1975.
