The church village of Pavovere is located in Švenčioni district, 5 km east of the town of Pabrade and 5 km west of the border with Belarus. Here is the church of St. It was built in 1774-1775 under the title of Kazimierz. Pavovere St. Kazimierz's church and belfry is an ensemble of buildings in the forms of folk classicism. It stands in the part of the old village of Pavovere, on a spacious lot. In the middle of the church there is a bell tower. There are 17 art monuments in the church and bell tower. From long ago, everything in the church was Polish and was conducted in Polish. Only during the Soviet era, when the village of Pavoverė belonged to Pabradė neighborhood of Švenčioni district, the Lithuanian language was introduced.
The future leader of the Polish nation, Marshal Juzefs Pilsudskis, was baptized in Pavovere church.
