The Passeier Valley cycle path leads from Meran to St. Leonhard and offers wonderful insights into the nature of the upper Passeier Valley over its length of approx. 20 km. In spring you cycle through blooming apple orchards, in summer you enjoy the pleasant river breeze of the Passer, which flanks the cycle path throughout. On the way you can make a stopover in Kuens, Riffian, Saltaus or St. Martin.

Surface: Almost exclusively highway gravel; the rare sections with gradients over 3% are paved.
The two major advantages are: You don't have to take the busy federal highway, and since the cycle path runs along the river the entire way, it has a very pleasant, moderate gradient throughout.
The route up the valley to St. Leonhardt is easily rideable with a modern road bike (28+ mm tires).
An unreserved recommendation for trekking, gravel, and mountain biking!
