Far beyond the buildings, north of the cemetery in Kamień Śląski (Krapkowice district, Gogolin commune), on the extension of Klasztorna Street, near the Triassic limestone quarries, there is a charming, 19th-century plague cemetery. In the summer of 1874, fifty villagers were buried here, who died as a result of the cholera epidemic raging in the area.
The facility is surrounded by a stone wall and is well-kept. In its area there are old trees and periwinkle - a plant that should be considered an indicator for old cemeteries. In 1996, the obelisk was renovated and the damaged cross was replaced with a new one. The information board was also taken care of.
