Prince Ferdinand killed 1455 foxes during his hunter's life, the first at the age of twelve. He let the 1000th fox out, he found a place of honor in the hunting room of the castle Braunfelser. In addition, the passionate hunter killed 199 deer, as well as 4497 pieces of venison such as deer, hares, wild ducks and field hens.
