Cycling

The border opens at 08.00 and closes at 18.00. There are no facilities, i.e. cafe/accommodation. Plenty of space for tents though!

Cycling

We crossed from Kazakhstan to Kyrgyzstan. Very easy crossing (Swiss passport), no questions asked, no bags searched. Took about 10 minutes in total. On the Kyrgyz side, there were two yurts where we could buy some drinks and the lady there let us change the rest of our Tenge to Som for a good rate (slightly better than the Google rate).
