After the long, steep climb up the rocky OHV road, lined with burned pine trees and often dotted with Columbines and Indian Paintbrush in the summertime, you reach the summit of Storm Mountain. You get unparalleled views over the steep fins of rock that make up a popular climbing area called "The Monastery" to Estes Park and the often-snowy peaks in Rocky Mountain National Park. While at the top, don't forget to check out a small loop off the summit that takes you to a great lookout spot.
