Grant's Trail — also known as the Gravois Greenway — is named after Ulysses S. Grant, Commanding General of the Union Army during the US Civil War and, later, President of the United States. Grant's Trail wanders through seven municipalities, connecting numerous neighborhoods and parks. It's a wonderful place for a walk, and very popular with runners and bicycle commuters too.
