Tips
The lake probably has glacial origins, having arisen in a small basin, modeled on the slope that descends from Penna by a tiny tongue of glacier which must have been here between 20,000 and 10,000 years ago (the so-called last glacial period).

Small body of water located at approximately 1,450 m above sea level. at the foot of the north face of Monte Penna.
