There are two paths leading to Senninger Alm. One is a bit more difficult due to the varied terrain, but more pleasant because you walk along the stream. The other is easier, with asphalt paving, which is also suitable for vehicles, but the stream is less visible. Both paths lead to the same destination, even from a distance. It was a beautiful trail.

Hiking

The 1,856 square kilometer Hohe Tauern National Park is divided into a 1,213 square kilometer core and a 643 square kilometer outer zone and extends across three federal states.

Outer zone - An attempt is made to preserve the characteristic landscape through targeted promotion of alpine farming measures.

Core zone - strict protection. Three quarters of this area of the national park (not the external zone) is excluded from commercial use.

Sulzbachtäler wilderness area - 6,728 hectares of category 1b protected area. Area in special protection which is preserved in its originality without human influence.
