The Grumbacher Graben is a slope ditch of the Upper Harz water system that runs parallel to the contour line. At the end of the active Grumbacher Graben, just below the Grumbacher Teich, the Grumbach falls almost 20 metres in an impressive waterfall into the Grumbachtal. You walk along the ditch through the shady forest on a simple but narrow path.
