Coney Lake is an alpine lake located in a beautiful, narrow bowl just below Coney Island (the peak). Surrounded by mountains, this is a great destination that is a relatively short distance from the Coney Creek Trailhead (2.2 miles one way) and just under 6 (5.9) miles from the Beaver Reservoir. Dogs are allowed on the trail and by the lake as long as they are leashed so Coney Lake is a great option for you if you have a pet.
