Valprivas is a small town perched on the top of a hill which rises above 800 meters above sea level.
Stronghold in the north of the ancient country of Velay, a 10th century castle guards its entrance. Further south, an orientation table allows you a beautiful overview of the surrounding landscapes, from the Pilat massif, through the Forez, Velay, Cévennes and Gévaudan mountains, to the Puys chain.
