Taiyuin Temple (大猷院, Taiyūin) is the mausoleum of the 3rd Tokugawa shogun, Iemitsu. Taiyuin is Iemitsu's name after his death. In contrast to the Toshogu Shrine, the mausoleum appears more modest and less elaborate, but is very impressive.
