The Rosenberg is a steep, about 260 meters high elevation between Alhausen and the south Bad Driburg. The mausoleum on the Rosenberg is the burial place of the count's family of Oeynhausen-Sierstorpff. The adjoining obelisk commemorates the founder of the spa, Caspar Heinrich von Sierstorpff. In 1792, he acquired the Rosenberg, which was used as a cattle pasture, had it reforested, planted hedge roses, set footpaths and integrated the mountain into the landscape of the Count's Park.
