The GIGILOS is located on the western side of the famous SAMARIA GORGE and dominates the landscape around the OMALOS PLATEAU with its impressive summit of 2080 meters. The path that leads there starts directly at the restaurant above the SAMARIA gorge entrance and leads us into a rugged landscape with impressive rock formations. From the summit you have a breathtaking view over the entire SAMARIA GORGE, the OMALOS PLATEAU and the WHITE MOUNTAINS. Another ascent option starts in the village of Koustogerako.
