There used to be a restaurant / café here.
You can't really speak of the "market", even though it's called that. In practice, it's more of a "market street" that was nicely redesigned a few years ago.
The area around the former Saalburg school is worth seeing in the lower area of the bridge. Everything has been renovated and restored. The tower of the former Saalburg collapsed about 100 years ago. The stump can still be seen.
