The building of the current City Hall taken over from the state-owned fishing company "Szkuner", then functioning as the Fisherman's House - a hotel for fishermen, company offices, laundries, bars - eateries, a restaurant, a community center with an auditorium and activities for children and teenagers, a dancing hall, a tower - as company apartments and several other functions. Currently, it also serves as public and municipal offices, as well as, for example, a medical clinic.
