    Located at Milepost 285.1 on the Blue Ridge Parkway, Boone's Trace Overlook isn't really an overlook. It's actually in remembrance of Daniel Boone and his route clearing (it's believed that he blazed a trail through this area). There's a scenic panorama just off the side of the road that you'll bike past just south of here.
