The Römerweg is a really nasty uphill that not only costs a lot of money, but also has a few pushing sections - even for eBikers. The construction site in the middle (renewal of the Trans-Europe natural gas pipeline) is difficult to cross even when it is dry (when it is wet? Autumn/Winter?) and shortly afterwards a 20% uphill with an S-curve ensures further sliding fun. Once you've finally reached the "Bald Head", you know what you've achieved. Unfortunately there is no 'better' uphill from Silz towards Kahler Kopf / Hundsfelsen.
In my opinion, a suboptimal piece on the MTB8 that calls for an alternative.
