The medieval fortress is one of the must-see attractions in this city steeped in history. Equipped with a monumental keep and sixteen towers, surrounded by a six-meter moat, the fortress was at the time a fine example of medieval architecture. To see what remains today you have to take a short path which goes behind the church. At this location you will see that the latter was then in the center of a fortified city with several towers and a keep.

Also worth seeing is the panorama known as “the Anquetil tower” (a name that will speak to cyclists!) which offers a view of the town below.
