Cycling
The Malchow Town Windmill is a historic landmark of the island town of Malchow in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. Built around 1843 as a gallery windmill with a rotating cap and originally sail-shaped sails, it was once one of seven mills in the town. After milling operations ceased in 1954, the building initially fell into disrepair before being extensively restored in the mid-1990s. Since then, large sails with a diameter of approximately 24 meters have once again rotated above the surrounding gallery.
