The Wolfshagen village church is one of the most famous buildings in town and was built in 1858 in the neo-Gothic style by Hermann von Schwerin. The exterior of the church is decorated with many decorations. Next to the main portal under tracery canopies there are sandstone figures of Luther and Calvin. The interior of the church has changed little since its completion. Today weddings and concerts take place in the church. From here we walk towards the shore of the Haussee. After 250 m we see the Monument to the Wars of Liberation (erected in 1828) on a hill on the right. From here you have a beautiful view over the lake. On our way along the lakeshore we soon pass several natural swimming areas that invite you to jump into the cool water. At the end of the lake we pass a small bridge, keep left and continue walking along the lake towards the village. At a fork, the Wolfshagen forester's lodge is on the right.
