I used this road to go from Bastia to Ponte Leccia and avoid the traffic. Certainly a little more demanding than the T20 but the total absence of traffic, the villages crossed and the panorama fully repay the effort. I haven't seen any shops, there is a bar in Borgo, there are more frequent fountains towards Ponte Leccia but it is advisable to bring water in addition to the 2 water bottles and food.
