The neat Haná town of Kojetín lies on the right bank of the Morava River. It was created on the road Olomouc - Kroměříž. It is located at an important traffic intersection, the railway line between Přerov and Brno has existed for more than 130 years, and the Kojetín - Ostrava line for over 110 years. The town is located approx. 20 km from Přerov.
