Mountain biking

Saint Severin is probably the most famous person from Mautern. Severin of Noricum lived in Favianis (Mautern) in the 5th century and was a late antique saint, missionary and monastery founder. The sculpture is the last work of the late Austrian sculptor Professor Hans Freilinger. Freilinger was born in Upper Austria and lived in Krems after completing his studies.
