Idyllically located away from the often bustling Aartalsee: the pond facility of the Ahrtal Hohenahr fishing club on the Staderbach stream offers seating for a short rest. The path leading past the facility (suitable for mountain bikes and touring bikes) provides a good alternative connection between Großaltenstädten and Aartalsee.
