Blue Creek Trai is a popular route into the Chisos Mountains. The trail starts along Blue Creek Drainage and into open grassland and forests. As you climb in elevation, you get mountain vistas and a strenuous workout. Some of the trail is sand and another part is gravel. Hikers will often join Blue Creek Trail with Laguna Meadows Trail for a multiday trip.
