Above the lake is the northernmost cabin of the Norwegian Trekking Association DNT. The cabin is unlocked and intended as an emergency cabin. The cabin has a bed, a table with chairs and a fireplace with firewood.
Many people come to this cabin just to sign the cabin book.
The path there is not marked and not visible. However, the terrain is easy to walk through. It is just 2km from the nearest road.
