This former hunting lodge is an outstanding monument of historicism. Designed by architect Arthur Johlige from Leipzig as a forest and hunting lodge, it has been designed down to the smallest detail in a manner typical of the time. It combines motifs of the Swiss house with those of Upper Bavarian farmhouses. The ground floor is made of masonry, the upper floor and the attic are also made of wood. Inside and out, the equipment and decoration are extraordinarily elaborate. The windows on the ground floor were decorated with Lüftlmalereien in the Neo-Coco style, the upper floor was clad with long clapboards, the balconies and windows were decorated with finely sawn and painted boards and shutters. The interior initially impresses on the ground floor with a spacious, paneled hall with a staircase and a vaulted dining room. This is adjoined by a farmhouse parlor with a surrounding corner seat. Painted bands of plants and fruits decorate the rooms. Carved and painted furniture contributes in a special way to the cozy atmosphere of the house.
