Batty Pass Caves have an interesting backstory. They are three shallow, man-made caves that were carved out by brothers who ran a small mining business out of them in the 1950s.

The path to these caves is open to vehicles but can often be hard to reach without a 4-wheel drive vehicle. If your vehicle can make it, there is an area that allows parking next to the caves.
