The Balaine Arboretum is the oldest private botanical and floral park in France. This 20-hectare park was created in 1804 by Aglaë Adanson, a passionate botanist and daughter of the famous Michel Adanson. You can admire more than 3,500 species and varieties of plants, including rare and exotic trees, shrubs, vines, roses and perennials. You can also discover the elegant English garden, the vegetable garden and the charming brick castle inhabited by the same family for seven generations.
