Of the two Erickson lakes South Erickson Lake is arguably the prettier one, tucked at the foot of a talus slope against a starkly beautiful alpine background. If you are set on fishing or camping, however, or just want to see another alpine beauty, it's worth visiting North Erickson Lake as well.
