Due to heavy silting, the nave was demolished in 1805. The church tower was preserved - initially as a navigation mark - and can be visited.
It takes a bit of imagination to imagine how deep the floor of the nave was originally. You can get an idea of this by looking at the remaining arch of the roof vault on the other side of the tower.
