Sherwood Island State Park is home to the first state park in Connecticut. There are a couple walking paths and wilderness trails that are great for easy walking or jogging, and you have access to the beach of Long Island Sound basically the entire time you're at the park. The Sherwood Island Trail includes a couple "nature walk" path, an observation boardwalk, and an easy-to-run crushed cinder path.
