Cycling
At the end of Val Settimana is Casera Senons at 1326 m above sea level. Going up from Rifugio Pussa on a comfortable road in the woods you arrive in a moment. Inside is the fireplace for heating milk from the cheese shelves. On the floor above is the night accommodation. Next to the stable we have a tub for the cows to drink but all this has been in disuse for some time now.

Upon reaching the mountain hut, you will be rewarded with a magnificent panorama stretching over the Pramaggiore Group, Monte Caserine Alte, Cima di Bortoluth, and the imposing rocky walls of Monte San Francesco. Despite being one of the historic huts in Val Settimana, today the building shows the signs of time and abandonment. It is still possible to recognize the original structure dedicated to cheese making, while the old stable is located a short distance away. With a bit of luck, marmots and weasels can be observed in the surroundings.
