De Vuile Seule is a historic inn located near the Galgebossen. Known for its unique name, the inn has a rich history dating back to the 17th century. The building itself is a beautiful example of traditional Flemish architecture.

During the First World War, various camps were in use in the Galgebossen where soldiers stayed in tents, barracks or simply stretched under tarpaulin between the trees. The camp here got its name from "Dirty Bucket" of the inn "Vuile Seule" just outside the forest.
A "seule" is a bucket in the local dialect. So "Bucket" in English.
