The Nelson Loop is a popular loop in Hall Ranch Open Space, accessed either via the Nighthawk or the Bitterbrush trails. The loop takes you up and over rollings hills, past rock buttes, and on the southern end of the loop there is a short spur trail that takes you to the remnants of the old Nelson Homestead.
