From the Ostrołęka Gate we go through the barrier (slowly) and reach the western part of the fortress. The road itself leads to the roof of the pen, which is now a viewing terrace with a beautiful view of the Modlin Fortress Granary and the junction of the Narew and Vistula rivers. But before that you can turn onto the green trail and get to the pen itself from the bottom (high urbex potential (#PDK).
