I usually don't vote for highlights that advertise but Cosimo is a RESOURCE for us cyclists!

Following the park cycle route, you should stop in Canolo just to stop at his place, be told about Aspromonte, eat Aspromonte, rest and regenerate.

DA COSIMO is a well-known restaurant in the area, located in the new town of Canolo. In recent times the place has been renovating to make room for cyclists who want to stay overnight in the area. The family that runs it is creating the reception facilities but already today it is possible to stay overnight with your own tent or in their rooms. For everything else there is the country that offers all the services one may need. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

From Canolo Nuova you can go to the other villages of the Aspromonte, both those of the Ionian part (Canolo Vecchia is recommended from which it is possible to see the Southern Dolomites) and those of the Tyrrhenian part (San Giorgio Morgeto recommended), both close but with to deal with.
