Tips
The Cabo de San Antonio, or Cap de Sant Antoni in Valencian, is a cape on the northern Costa Blanca, near the town of Jávea. Steep, partly vertical limestone cliffs fall from the 162 m high cape to the sea.Close to the lighthouse, the remains of an old park can be seen. In one place, a few large, worked natural stones and a floor made of clay tiles from a chapel are evidence of this. The chapel was dedicated to Saint Anthony the Great (Spanish Antonio Abad), from whom the cape got its name. It was built in the last third of the 14th century and remodeled in the 16th century.Great view, great location, a magnificent view over the bay!
